Platform Lifts for Restaurant

As part of the Golden Tulip Hotel refurbishment, five DDA-compliant lifts needed to be installed at various points within the hotel. The Platform Lift Company was recommended as a suitable lift company for the access project.
Cumberland Lodge is a Grade Two listed, seventeenth-century building set in the heart of Great Windsor Park. The lodge is a unique conference centre, whose patron is the Queen.
Farr and Roberts (Building) Ltd was contracted to carry out a 0.5 million pound refurbishment to the kitchen and scullery areas. Part of the refurbishment was to install a platform lift that would allow staff to gain access to the basement for storage use. The platform lift did not need to be DDA compliant, but it did need to fit into a small area of the kitchen that leads down to the basement.
