The B Type is a simple screw and nut driven lifting platform for installation outdoors or indoors, rising to a maximum of 2 metres. With its open design covered by toughened and laminated glazed panel sheets this lift fits well in most environments, providing a stylish and reliable platform lift solution.

Safety first

Safety is of the utmost importance for an open type lift, to prevent trapping when the lift is lowered. This is solved by a movable plate with safety switches, which covers the whole underside of the platform. If the plate is touched the lift stops immediately. All The Platform Lift Company products are CE marked in compliance with European regulations and meet the safety requirements detailed in BS6440 & ISO 9386.

Easy to use

The "saloon" type doors automatically swing back to a closed position. Platform and landing controls are easy to handle for operator independence. The lift has a large platform area with non-slip flooring and includes a shallow ramp for entry and exit.
