Hydraulic Vertical Platform Lift
Wheelchair & Passenger Lift (DDA compliant)
With a maximum travel of 6m these hydraulic vertical platform lifts offer a contemporary solution for wheelchair and disabled access. Glazed as standard and with various standard colours to choose from this lift has been a favourite among architects for several years. The lift is suitable for internal or external use.
Three platform sizes are available; 1250×900, 1400×900 and 1400×1100. For a travel above 2m the 1400×1100 is required to meet Part M, however the smaller platform sizes can be used with a half height gate or building control dispensation (existing shaft etc). Bi-parting doors (automatic) are an alternative to swing doors if there are clearance issues or simply for a contemporary look.
Bespoke Options
Special bespoke solutions can be provided; we have installed a lift like this for a paraplegic where pressure pads were designed for contact with the wheelchair. Also motion sensors were used so the doors opened automatically upon approach. If you have a special request, do not hesitate to ask.
